The LED display used as an outdoor advertisement has much higher requirements for the use environment than the general display. During the use of outdoor LED display screens, due to different environments, they are often affected by severe weather such as high temperature, typhoon, rainstorm, and lightning. To make the display screen safe and sound in severe weather, what precautions should we take?
1. Anti-high temperature

Outdoor LED displays usually have a large area, consume a lot of power during the application process, and correspondingly emit a large amount of heat. In addition, the external temperature is high. If the heat dissipation problem cannot be solved in time, it is likely to cause heat and short circuit on the circuit board. And other issues. In production, ensure that the display circuit board is in good condition, and try to choose a hollow design when designing the shell to help heat dissipation. During installation, according to the installation situation, keep the display screen in a well-ventilated environment, and add cooling equipment to the display screen when necessary, such as installing an air conditioner or fan inside to help the display screen dissipate heat.
2. Anti-typhoon
The installation positions of outdoor LED displays are different, and the installation methods are also different, such as wall-mounted, inlaid, column-mounted, and suspended. Then in the typhoon season, in order to prevent the screen body of the outdoor LED display from falling, there are strict requirements on the load-bearing steel frame structure of the display. The engineering unit must design and install in strict accordance with the typhoon-resistant standard, and at the same time have a certain degree of earthquake resistance to ensure that the outdoor LED display will not fall and cause casualties and other hazards.

3. Stormproof
Rainy weather is unavoidable outdoors, so the LED display itself must have a high waterproof protection level to avoid rain erosion. In the outdoor use environment, the outdoor LED display screen must reach the IP65 protection level, the module must be packaged with glue, and a waterproof box should be selected, and the module and the box should be connected with a waterproof rubber ring.
4. lightning protection
1). Protection against direct lightning strikes: If the outdoor LED large screen is not within the protection range of direct lightning strikes of nearby tall buildings, a lightning rod must be installed on or near the top of the steel structure of the display screen;
2)Inductive lightning protection: The outdoor LED display power supply system is equipped with 1-2 level power supply lightning protection, and the signal line is equipped with a signal lightning protection device. Install signal lightning arrester;
3). All LED display lines (power supply and signal) should be shielded and buried;
4)The front end of the outdoor LED display and the grounding system of the machine room should meet the system requirements. Generally, the grounding resistance of the front end should be less than or equal to 4 ohms, and the grounding resistance of the machine room should be less than or equal to 1 ohm.
