LED package connection method and characteristics
1. Overall connection form
Generally, the LED1 ~ LEDN in the simple series connection form is connected to the end and tail, and the current flows at the time of LED is equal. For LEDs of the same specifications and batches, although the voltage on a single LED may have a small difference, because LED is an current device, it can ensure that their luminous intensity is consistent. Therefore, the simple series LED has the characteristics of simple circuits and convenient connection.
Disadvantages: Due to the use of series, when one of the LEDs occur, the entire LED lights will be extinguished, which will affect the reliability of use.
Second, the overall parallel form
Simple parallel form
The LED1 ~ LEDN in the simple parallel form is connected in parallel, and each LED is equal to each LED. It can be seen from the characteristics of LEDs that it belongs to a current device, and the slight changes in voltage added to the LED will cause major changes in current. In addition, due to the limitations of LED manufacturing technology, even the same batch of LEDs, there are differences in performance. Therefore, when LED1 ~ LEDN works, the current flowing through each LED is not equal. It can be seen that the uneven distribution of each LED current may cause the LED life with excessive current to decrease or even burn out.

3. Mixed formation form
